SPHS presents Les Miserables
It’s that time of year again, when students at South Portland High School (our local HS) are busy rehearsing their annual musical. This year it is Les Miserables. (For a summary of the story here is a link to Wikipedia.)
For many years, it has been a family tradition to attend the show. Now my daughter is a part of the ensemble! It really is a community effort!!! Pit band, scenery, lighting, performers, box office, etc... students, parents, staff… so many coming together to create an always phenomenal production. (I’ve had the pleasure of painting scenery and will help out back stage with costumes during the production.)
I can’t wait to see the finished product! Want to check it out? Here is the link to all the info!
FYI...Les Miserables is NOT for young children! The production contains adult situations and language. Please remember this when making your plans to attend!

Thank You 2010
I can’t believe I’ve been writing this blog for nearly 2 years now! It seems impossible that much time has passed!
As I read past blog posts, I am surprised and grateful for what has changed, but also for what has stayed the same. Thank you, 2010, for the lessons you have provided!
So what comes next? Clear intentions, goals that excite me and to try to live my very best life. My motto for 2011? Listen more, learn all I can and, when I speak, do so with thought and compassion.
Happy New Year!
