Fiddlehead- Scarborough is located at 383 US Route 1 in Scarborough, ME. If you are not familiar with the center I encourage you to go to their website to check out their great fall class offerings.
What a wonderful week I had teaching the Fabric Art Camp at Fiddlehead Center for the Arts in Scarborough, Maine. I had a group of nine very creative girls that enthusiastically attacked every project or process I gave them to try! The unexpected highlight of the week was the creation of imaginary fabric creatures that the girls worked on in their free time all week. They even created an imaginary worlds for their creatures! Sometimes the best things in life are the unplanned surprises!
Hello! I am an artist living, working and teaching on the beautiful southern coast of Maine. Until recently, my business was known as Sunfire Batiks. I am now making the transition to Suzanne Drown Art & Design to reflect a broader scope of mediums and design sense.
I gather the inspiration for my artwork from nature, dance and cultures from around the world. I enjoy bringing a strong sense of hope, inspiration and life affirming messages to my work.
