Suzala Paper

I have recently entered into an exciting partnership with two very talented friends, Laurie Spugnardi and Susan Hellier, to create an awesome new paper goods company we have named Suzala Paper. We’ll be launching our first line of calendars and cards at the New England Products Wholesale Trade Show in March.

For our initial product line, each of us has created a collection of 12 cards, one 2013 calendar and one perpetual calendar. I am thrilled by what we have to offer! Our card line is now available for viewing at www.suzalapaper.com. It is our wish that our products will be available at your local gift or bookstore very soon!

Want to help us? When you are out in your world, note what shops make you want to go in and peruse the shelves for the perfect greeting card. Where do you find the most colorful and interesting calendars? Beautiful wrapping paper and the nicest note card sets? Then make a comment below letting me know the store's name and city. We’ll take it from there!.

Also, if you know a store owner, buyer or independent sales rep in your area who is looking for new paper products... by all means, send them our way!

Follow our adventures by Liking us on Facebook! I will also blog about our progress along the way, so stay tuned!

So Po Art Studios: A Dream Come True!

The life of an artist can be a solitary endeavor, so I'm always on the lookout for ways to build community. One of my favorites is an awesome group of women artists! We get together once a month to support each other, swap ideas and give (and get) feedback on everything from shows to marketing to manifesting our dreams for the future. Susan, Laurie, Kendra, Lisa, Claudia and Maggie have been a great support and comfort to me! Lucky me!

Last week, two members of this group, Laurie Spugnardi and Maggie Bokor, took the big step of partnering to create a new small business: So Po Art Studios. Laurie is a tile painter and ceramic surface designer, and Maggie is a jeweler and painter. They hope to create art, community and a living in their new business home at 855 Sawyer Road in South Portland, Maine.. Congratulations Ladies!

You can get more info about this new business at their Facebook Business Page. If you would like to find out more about each of them check out their websites: Spugnardi Design and Maggie Bokor.

A great example of dreams really coming true!
